We are the Kaua’i District
On a mission to build a legacy of Roping, Riding and Stewardship
The HHSRA-Kaua’i District is a non profit organization which is an extension of the National High School Rodeo Association. Our Kaua’i District members range from ages 5 through 18 and have the privilege of competing in various rodeo events in our beautiful island home. The Kaua’i District is dedicated to enriching the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of Kaua’i’s youth by promoting family values, developing character through community outreach and stewardship and exposing student-members to post -secondary opportunities through the sport of Rodeo.
Who We Are:
In addition to rodeo events, HHSRA Kaua’i District student members also have the opportunity to compete in cutting and cow horse events, rodeo pageantry and shooting competitions including light rifle and trap shooting.
What We Do:
Our association is home to many young stewards. Kids who put their own needs behind those of the animals who depend on them, kids who have fenced hundreds of acres, kids who could operate heavy equipment long before they had a drivers license, kids who can weld, kids who change oil and tires and kids who have helped process thousands of head of cattle. When you support the Kaua’i District, you are supporting an organization that prays before every event, sings the national anthem and honors the American Flag. You are contributing to the next generation of humans who come to serve, rather than be served.
